TurleyWay are pairing with a world renowned Trading firm who are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join their latency-critical trading infra team. This would be part of a collaborative globally based team who follow-the-Sun model. The team cover business critical Networks across the USA, Canada, EMEA, and APAC.
This positions as a Network Engineer will focus on the architecture, design, deployment, and support of high-performance global networks.
The networks have high uptime targets utilise technology which is cutting-edge. You will be working with some remote working within this team.
Core Responsibilities and experience required:
- Experience of working with low-latency network technologies with a mix of operations and projects
- Configuring, maintaining, and supporting critical network components of software and hardware.
- Design and implement high-availability, low-latency networks (including Multicast (IGMP, PIM), L2/L3, and WAN design)
- Networking and Troubleshooting: Knowledge of IP Networking, TCP/IP, troubleshooting, Python and Bash Scripting experience to automate tasks and Experience of working with Linux Shell experience.
- Proven track record of routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
