Network Technician

Network Technician, Cisco ISE, CCNA, NATO Secret

We are seeking an experienced Network Technician to provide first and second-line support for network cabling and access layer systems in a secure NATO environment. This role involves troubleshooting, installation, and proactive monitoring of network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve network cabling incidents and problems.
• Perform installation, moves, and changes for network port and circuit patching.
• Monitor access layer systems and report potential issues.
• Operate Cisco ISE for client installations, moves, and changes.
• Support security assessment setups and carrier connectivity.
• Supervise and escort external ICT providers.
• Document network cabling systems with Standard Operating Procedures.

Essential Qualifications

• Good background in LAN cabling support experience with Passive Network Infrastructure systems.
• Must have experience to CCNA-level Access Layer support experience.
• Cisco ISE client commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Cisco DNAc/CCC or equivalent.
• Cisco Wireless Access Points and configuration changes.
• Experience with DNS and DHCP.
