Outokumpu, the global leader in stainless steel, is looking for a Network Specialist Team Leader to join our IT organization. In this role, you'll lead a growing team of network specialists supporting global IT projects, enhancing our security posture, and ensuring reliable day-to-day network operations. You'll combine technical expertise with people leadership, driving development and innovation across our network landscape.

Your role:

• Lead and develop a small but global/remote team of Network Specialists
• Oversee HR-related tasks including coaching, performance management, and team development
• Manage task allocation and support project delivery with network requirements
• Drive process improvements and ensure adherence to existing standards
• Support vendors and partners in troubleshooting and maintaining operational excellence
• Collaborate with the Network Architect on the design and rollout of new solutions
• Contribute to the development and enforcement of firewall rules and network policies

About you:

• Experience leading small to medium-sized teams , especially in remote/global setups
• Technical know-how with Palo Alto Firewalls and network design
• Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs)
• Familiarity with monitoring and diagnostic tools (SNMP, Wireshark, etc.)
• Understanding of Azureand hybrid cloud networking is a plus
• Background supporting LAN, WAN, WLAN in corporate settings
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent
