Network Operation Engineer

Trust in Soda is excited to be working with a global pharmaceutical client in Prague, seeking a skilled Azure Network Operations Engineer to join on an 18-month contract. This role will focus on cloud networking, Firewall management, and security operations in a complex enterprise environment.

What you'll be doing:

• Manage and optimise Azure networking components (VNets, VPNs, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, NSGs).
• Configure, monitor, and maintain Palo Alto Firewalls and Azure Firewall for secure and reliable connectivity.
• Troubleshoot network incidents across hybrid cloud/on-prem, performing root cause analysis and implementing fixes.
• Support design and implementation of secure network solutions in collaboration with engineering/architecture teams.
• Maintain monitoring, logging, and automation to ensure performance, compliance, and resilience.

What we're looking for:

• Proven hands-on experience with Azure networking services.
• Strong expertise with Firewall technologies (Palo Alto required, Azure Firewall desirable).
• Solid understanding of cloud security and network operations.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and proactive approach to optimisation.
