Network cabling engineer (DC)

DCS Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced data cabling engineer in Welwyn on behalf of a national client.

Vacancies: 1

Works will commence on the 5th of September, with a shift schedule of 1 x shift, Friday 10pm - Saturday 6am, every other weekend.

Responsibilities:

• Install and dress data cabling within a data centre environment, adhering to cabling dressing standards in cabinets.
• Label and organize fibre and copper cables neatly between cabinets to ensure proper connectivity.
• Install and decommission network devices within the data centre.

Requirements:

• Experience in data centre cabling is essential.
• Must possess CSCS or ECS certification.
• Strong knowledge of cabling standards within equipment racks.
