Job Description

Sanderson are working with a growing, technology-led SaaS organisation that is investing heavily in secure, scalable platforms that support thousands of users globally. As part of their continued product evolution, they are looking for a Mid-Level .NET Engineer with strong experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) and modern authentication standards.

You'll join an Agile development team working on authentication and user identity services that underpin core platform functionality. Security is a key priority for this organisation, and they are looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about building secure, robust, and scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain authentication and authorisation services using .NET
  • Write clean, scalable C# code following secure software engineering principles
  • Implement and support modern authentication protocols across the platform
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects to design secure system architecture
  • Contribute to improving system security, resilience, and performance
  • Test, deploy, refactor, and optimise applications across the SDLC
  • Act as a subject matter contributor within IAM and authentication services

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a .NET/C# Engineer
  • Strong hands-on experience with .NET and ASP.NET
  • Solid understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT
  • Strong interest in security and secure-by-design engineering practices
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering a salary up to £50,000 (DOE), with hybrid working.
