Job Description
Overview

London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust invites applications for the Neonatal Trust Doctor role. The closing date is 17 February 2026.

Responsibilities
  • The management of the babies in the NICU, SCBU and in the Post-natal Wards with support from registrars and consultants
  • Be part of ward rounds in the Neonatal Unit and the Post-natal Wards and perform relevant practical procedures (peripheral venous cannulation, lumbar puncture, cranial ultrasound scans, etc). There is also a daily Consultant Ward Round.
  • Chance to perform procedures such as umbilical lines, long lines and endotracheal intubation under supervision
  • Participate in multicenter trials
  • Attend Perinatal Morbidity/Mortality Psychosocial Meetings and network teaching
