Role: Neighbourhood Services Manager (Internal Job Title)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £32,936 to £41,170 per annum (dependent on experience) plus Essential Car User Allowance of £2,329 and London Allowance of £2,739
Contract: Permanent
Location: Sussex (Brighton and Wealden), based at one of our Sussex schemes
Are you passionate about delivering excellent housing services and building strong, safe communities? At Moat, we're seeking a proactive and customer-focused Neighbourhood Services Manager to manage a diverse housing portfolio.
In this vital role, you'll represent Moat in our communities-overseeing tenancies and leases, maintaining high standards in estate services, and responding swiftly to anti-social behaviour and tenancy breaches. You'll collaborate with residents, contractors, and managing agents to ensure neighbourhoods are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
What you'll be doing:- Conducting regular estate inspections and monitoring cleaning and gardening contracts
- Managing tenancy and leasehold queries in line with service standards
- Ensuring managing agents deliver value-for-money services
- Taking prompt enforcement action on ASB and tenancy breaches
- Supporting new tenants and shared owners through sign-ups and onboarding
- Handling complaints and ensuring compliance with the Housing Ombudsman Code
- Fulfilling safeguarding obligations, supporting vulnerable residents, and signposting to key agencies
- Strong knowledge of tenancy and leasehold management
- Experience handling ASB and engaging with communities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- A relevant housing qualification (or willingness to obtain one)
- A full UK driving licence and access to transport
