Are you passionate about making a difference and improving our Neighbourhoods? Our Neighbourhood Officers are at the heart of what we do as an organisation. We have a great opportunity for a Neighbourhood Officer to join our Localities team providing a comprehensive housing management service, working with communities and neighbourhoods around Worcester.
Responsibilities- Visit customers, provide advice, review tenancies and identify any problems.
- Inspect estates regularly, raise, report and monitor health and safety or safeguarding concerns to a successful conclusion.
- Develop strong relationships within local communities and collaborate with other agencies and Platform colleagues.
- Manage and investigate tenancy issues such as anti-social behaviour, condition of property, fly tipping or safeguarding concerns.
- Undertake new tenancy sign-ups and accompany viewings for new homes.
- Experience working in the social housing sector, particularly with a background in tenancy management, anti-social behaviour and safeguarding.
- Experience working closely with customers to tackle complex issues.
- Proactive, organized and able to prioritise time to meet timeframes.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer focused approach, understanding the importance of delivering a high standard of service.
- Willingness to travel; driving licence and use of your own vehicle or alternative means of travel is essential.
- Ideally based in Worcestershire or within an easily commutable distance.
- Basic DBS check required.
