National Financial & Operations Coordinator

Location: Neilstown Rd, Clondalkin, Dublin, Ireland

Start Date: 22/06/2026

Salary: €57,000.00 (pro rata) - 1st point of WCI National Function Head salary scale.

This position offers an opportunity to work in a feminist organisation that supports women's equality and empowerment nationally and locally. Employed by the WCI Board, the National Finance & Operations Coordinator plays a pivotal strategic role as part of the senior management team, working closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to ensure financial sustainability and excellent organisational governance and compliance. The National Finance & Operations Coordinator will lead, coordinate and oversee the financial, operational, HR and organisational strategies, ensuring that the WCI's finances, people and resources align with its purpose, priorities and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate financial, operational, HR, and organisational strategies.
  • Ensure financial sustainability and excellent governance and compliance.
  • Develop and implement financial and operational systems, controls, and procedures.
  • Manage budgets, government funding and grant management processes.
  • Develop and present strategic financial/operational policy to the Board and senior management.
  • Ensure effective leadership, staff development, and engagement in a busy environment.
Key Qualifications
  • Demonstrated 3+ years of experience in a similar senior role.
  • Graduate level (minimum level 7) or equivalent professional qualification in Accounts and Finance.
  • Experience developing financial and operational systems, controls, and procedures.
  • Proven experience managing budgets, government funding and grant management.
  • Extensive experience in effective leadership and staff development at a senior level.
  • Experience in Governance and Compliance, developing strategies, processes, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in financial software, advanced Excel, and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Excellent attention to detail and numeracy aptitude.
