Your Role

The National Field Sales role is focused on new business development, targeting both small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and large organisations across the UK. You should have a thorough understanding of the market, LCL product and service offerings, and sector-specific knowledge of prospective customers. Your main activities will involve customer-facing interactions, seeking new business opportunities, and developing relationships. Problem-solving, proactivity, and delivering value propositions are essential qualities.

Your Responsibilities
  • Ensure all customer engagements are conducted to high standards.
  • Understand customer needs and offer sustainable service solutions.
  • Keep abreast of industry and category trends affecting customer businesses.
  • Maintain relationships with prospective customers, understanding their needs and building trust.
  • Maintain a pipeline of target LCL opportunities.
  • Identify key stakeholders within prospects to facilitate winning strategies.
  • Upsell LCL services to existing SeaLogistics customers.
  • Ensure the LCL offerings are aligned with customer requirements and compelling.
Your Skills and Experiences
  • Proven sales experience in dynamic, face-to-face environments.
  • Preferred background in logistics and related knowledge.
  • Self-starter with a competitive, enthusiastic, and systematic approach.
  • Resilient and positive attitude, capable of staying determined and optimistic.
  • Assertive leadership to meet deadlines and overcome obstacles.

This is a national role, so you can be based anywhere in the UK. Travel across different sites is required.
