Job Description

• Nanny job near Ringwood / Ferndown. BH24.
• A delightful family seek a nanny to join their family.
• This busy family has three children aged 9 years, 12 years & 15 years old. Plus dogs and cats.
• Nanny required 3 days a week from 2pm - 8pm. Position ideally Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Although Friday and weekends also considered.
• Nanny to arrive at 2pm and support with organising the house ready for afternoon, preparing dinner and walking the dogs. The children return home at 3:30pm with mum. Nanny to provide a mixture of sole charge and shared care of the children. Duties to include taking the children to David Lloyd or activities, assisting with homework, providing a fun age appropriate afternoon and supporting the evening routine.
• The 9 year old has additional needs; you will work alongside the family's mothers help or mum providing a fun afternoon either jumping on the trampoline, going to a class, visiting Moors Valley / Avon country park, or engaging in role play, crafts or fun activities within the home. Developmentally the boy is more like a 5 year old, he enjoys lots of one to one interaction.
• The right childcare professional will enjoy supporting a busy household. You must be a car driver with own car to be used for work purposes (mileage paid). A swimmer who is confident swimming with children essential. Previous experience working as a nanny / running a home is ideal. Previous childcare experience and checkable references are essential.
• You will be a team player happy to work with mum or mother's help but equally confident in sole charge, you will have a positive attitude and enjoy making a difference to family life.
• Position to start asap, with flexibility on start dates for the right nanny. Position offered all year round with flexibility on how hours are structured in the school holidays if required.
