Job Title: Music Tutor/Teacher - Part Time

Location: Stoke on Trent - Centre based

Salary: up to £35,000 (pro rata)

Type: Part Time, Permanent (3 days per week / 22.5 hours)

• Must have experience within Music/Performing Arts.
• Hold - or be willing to work towards - a recognised Level 5 Teaching qualification.
• Must be IT Literate.
• Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
• Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners

• Deliver classroom-based Music learning programmes to small groups of learners.
• Embedding of Maths and English into sessions.
• Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills, knowledge and behaviours.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners' needs.
• Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
• Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
