Job Description
Music & Chorister Recruitment Coordinator

Westminster Abbey is seeking a highly organised and creative arts administrator for the role of Music & Chorister Recruitment Coordinator. This is a key role at the heart of the Abbey's busy Music Department. The successful candidate will provide PA support to the Organist & Master of the Choristers, support the General Manager in daily operations, develop the chorister recruitment programme, promote choristership and the Abbey's Choir School, and oversee the department's social media.

Applicants should possess a music degree (or equivalent) and have substantial experience in a similar role within a classical music or arts organisation. Excellent IT and communication skills, relationship-building abilities, and an understanding of cathedral music traditions and choristership are essential. Experience in marketing, PR, education, or outreach is advantageous.

Working Conditions
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Holidays: 31 days annually, increasing to 33 days in the fifth year
  • Training: On-site training provided, with additional training assessed during probation and annual reviews
