Multispecies Butcher - North Staffordshire

Pay: £16.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, morning shift
Location: North Staffordshire

We are currently recruiting experienced Multispecies Butchers to join a busy meat production operation in North Staffordshire.

The role involves deboning on the table and working with a variety of meat species. This is a hands-on production role suited to butchers who are confident working independently and maintaining a good standard of knife work throughout the shift.

Key responsibilities

• Deboning meat on the table
• Working with different types of meat
• Using knives safely and efficiently
• Maintaining good cutting and trimming standards
• Working to production targets while maintaining quality
• Following food hygiene, health & safety and company procedures
• Keeping the work area clean and organised

Requirements

• Previous professional experience as a Butcher
• Good experience with table deboning
• Experience working with multiple meat species
• Good knife skills and knowledge of butchery techniques
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy production environment
• Good understanding of food hygiene and workplace safety
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to work Monday to Friday on a morning shift
• Own transport is essential due to the location of the workplace
