Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Your overall contribution at Northwood

Sustaining and improving equipment reliability and efficiency, creating and monitoring innovative maintenance programs, supporting commissioning of new lines and the development of performance measures and yearly maintenance plans.

You'll also play a key role in cross skilling our Operators' skillset in Changeovers, CILs, and minor PPMs and repairs.

Your day to day

• Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical machinery issues, conducting RCA and implementing long term solutions and prevention, educating our people on best practice.
• PLC interrogation/electrical fault finding
• Managing spare parts, conducting criticality and obsolescence assessments, and supporting CI initiatives.
• Utilising process improvement tools such as 5S, TPM, and Kaizen, supporting our CI.

Job Requirements What we need from you:

• Proven experience as an Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer.
• Experience in an FMCG or converting environment (e.g. Foods, Packaging, Printing, Paper, Pharmaceuticals, etc.)
• A proactive approach to equipment efficiency and reliability.
• Level 3+ Electrical qualification (ideally apprenticeship time served)
