Salary: £36,000.00 - £40,000.00 per annum

We are seeking qualified and experienced Multi-Trade Operatives to join our responsive repairs team, providing high-quality maintenance services across council-owned properties in the Westminster area.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking all types of responsive repairs and renewal works in both occupied and void properties.
  • Carpentry repairs and replacements, including skirting boards, floorboards, window frames, doors, door linings, staircases, fitted furniture, cabinetry, shelving, door handles and locks, cabinet handles, stairway railings, and more.
  • Plumbing repairs, including fixing leaks, replacing toilet seats, shower heads, and hoses, unblocking waste traps, toilets, gutters, and rainwater pipes, and carrying out other plumbing-related work as needed.
  • General maintenance tasks, including patching plaster and replacing small areas of tiles.
  • Using PDAs/mobiles to log completed work, communicate updates, and ensure efficient job tracking.
  • Diagnosing and resolving maintenance issues efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service.

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds or Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Carpentry & Joinery or Plumbing, or a CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (held for a minimum of 12 months)
  • Basic Criminal Record Check (Disclosure and Barring Service)
