Multi Skilled Mobile Engineer

Overview

Recruit4staff are representing a leading facilities management business in their search for a Mobile Building Services Engineer to work in Newcastle.

Responsibilities

• The Mobile Building Services Engineer will be responsible for carrying out reactive maintenance and responding to breakdowns across a range of commercial properties. Typical issues include M&E faults, HVAC systems, fire alarms, plumbing issues, BMS faults, and general building fabric repairs.
• Investigate problems on site, resolve them directly or arrange for parts and follow-up visits.
• Follow planned servicing schedules, particularly for lighting, emergency lighting, BMS, and water systems.
• Participation in an out-of-hours on-call rota is expected (1 week in 7).

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• Previous experience in a mobile facilities servicing or installation role
• Plumbing and electrical servicing and testing experience
• HVAC and water testing experience
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• 18th Edition electrical qualification

Additional Information

• Company sick pay scheme available
• Company vehicle is provided with allowance for personal use

Pay and Hours

• Pay: £38,000 per annum OTE £42,000 plus
• Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4.30pm, with on-call rota (1 week in 7)
• Duration: Permanent
• Benefits: Enhanced employer pension contributions, fuel card, 31 days holiday
