Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: DudleySalary: £55,780 + OvertimeShift Pattern: Contis

We are recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team within a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can hit the ground running and support production across processing and packaging operations.

• Maintain and repair production and packaging machinery

• Work on equipment including:

  • Mixing vessels and blenders

  • Pumps, fillers, cappers, and conveyors

  • Pasteurisers, cookers, and heat exchangers

  • Packaging and labelling machinery

• Electrical fault-finding on single and three-phase systems

• PLC fault-finding (Siemens / Allen Bradley preferred)

• Maintain motors, inverters, sensors, and control panels

• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults

• Work in line with BRCGS, HACCP, and GMP standards

• Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, BTEC or equivalent)

• PLC fault-finding experience

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

• Background in Food/FMCG manufacturing highly desirable

• Able to work independently in a fast-moving environment

• Continental shift:

  • Days: 06:00 - 18:00, Mon-Thurs (4 on / 3 off)

  • Nights: 18:00 - 06:00, Mon-Thurs (4 on / 3 off)

• Moving to 4 on / 4 off later in the year
