About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our growing Injection Moulding and Regrind teams. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining and improving machinery, ensuring optimal performance, and supporting site operations.

You will be responsible for troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. You'll work closely with manufacturers, suppliers, and internal teams to drive machine reliability and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain ancillary equipment, conveyors, and injection moulding machines.

  • Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and resolve issues efficiently.

  • Develop and manage a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) plan.

  • Monitor equipment performance and maintain detailed maintenance records.

  • Organise and manage engineering materials and spare parts to reduce downtime.

  • Oversee general site maintenance and contractors.

  • Ensure all work is carried out safely, using PPE and following Health & Safety standards.

  • Conduct regular safety audits and maintain high standards of housekeeping.

Experience & Skills
  • Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience, preferably in injection moulding or manufacturing environments.

  • Skilled in troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.

  • Knowledge of Health & Safety compliance and safe working practices.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
