Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join and engineering department in a modern, clean FMCG environment in Tewkesbury.

LOCATION: Tewkesbury Industrial Estate PAY: £ 19.89/hr OT of x
1.25 above 40 hours HOURS: Rotating shifts: Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6am - 1.45pm and Saturday, 6am

Week 2: Monday to Friday,
1.45pm - 9.45pm.

DURATION: Temp to Perm after 12 weeks

What You Will Be Doing
  • Respond to breakdowns across production and processing equipment
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
  • Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Repair, test and recommission machinery safely
  • Work to strict Health & Safety standards
  • Minimise downtime and support continuous improvement
What You Will Bring (Essential)
  • Electrical bias (minimum 70/30 electrical to mechanical split)
  • Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
  • Experience working on high speed / automated machinery
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Experience within an FMCG or fast paced production environment
Qualifications
  • HNC/HND/HNCD Level 4/5 in Engineering (Electrical preferred)
  • City & Guilds Level 4/5 Electrical Engineering Equivalent job based engineering experience
