Job Description

Job Title: Multi Skilled Engineer
Salary: £46,500 + Door-to-Door Travel
Location: London
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Holidays: 25 Days + Bank Holidays

What you'll be doing:

As a Multi Skilled Engineer, reporting directly to the Contract Manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance and compliance of engineering systems within a fast-paced and customer-focused environment. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on low voltage electrical systems

  • Routine PPM tasks aligned with the SFG20 framework

  • Responding to emergency situations (e.g., boiler failures)

  • Using diagnostic and test equipment to maintain and repair plant and systems

  • Ensuring system checks comply with current legislation

  • Managing contractors and ensuring safe working practices

  • Completing risk assessments and relevant documentation

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in Engineering Services Maintenance

  • Skilled in troubleshooting air conditioning systems

  • Periodic inspection qualification (desirable)

  • Background in PFI or education contracts preferred

  • Strong problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills

  • Ability to adapt and reprioritise in a dynamic environment
