About this role Location: Paddington or Newbury We are seeking an experienced Multi-Cloud Infrastructure Architect to design and deliver secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud solutions for VCloudSmart , Vodafone's internal SaaS platform for multi-cloud cost governance and optimisation. This role involves working with AWS, GCP, and Azure, ensuring compliance with Vodafone architectural standards, and driving innovation in cloud enablement and FinOps tooling. You will collaborate with agile squads, partner with cloud providers, and mentor team members while shaping the architecture for large-scale, multi-cloud environments. Who you are Proven expertise in cloud architecture and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure. Skilled in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation. Strong scripting and automation skills in Python and Bash. Experience designing SaaS cloud architecture and consuming RESTful APIs. Familiarity with monitoring tools, CI/CD pipelines, and Linux/Unix environments. Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills in an agile environment. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Exposure to AI/ML products is a plus.
