Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist - Galway city

Connacht Physio Clinic is looking for an experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist to join our growing specialist practice on the east side of Galway city.

About Us

We are a well-established specialist MSK practice with strong referral relationships with local GPs and orthopaedic consultants alongside a busy self-referral base from the surrounding community. Our caseload spans spinal and peripheral MSK conditions, post-operative rehabilitation, and sports injuries across all ages and backgrounds.

The clinic is led by a chartered physiotherapist with 20 years of specialist MSK experience and all clinicians are highly experienced in their fields. Clinical quality is at the centre of everything we do and we're looking for someone with the same ethos.

The Role

  • Full-time position

  • Varied MSK caseload - spinal, peripheral, post-surgical, and sports rehabilitation

  • Genuine one-to-one appointment time with patients - no conveyor belt approach

  • Close working relationship with an experienced MSK specialist - real case discussion and ongoing clinical support/CPD

  • A growing clinic with a clear development pathway for the right person

Who We're Looking For Essential requirements:

  • Applicants must have the unrestricted right to work in Ireland on a permanent basis without requiring current or future employer sponsorship - we are unable to consider applications that do not meet this requirement

  • Current CORU registration or a clear and confirmed pathway to it

  • A BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy

  • ISCP membership and professional indemnity insurance

  • At least 2 years of MSK experience - private practice experience is an advantage

  • Solid clinical reasoning, strong communication skills, and a genuine interest in patient outcomes

  • Full fluency in spoken and written English

Preferable attributes:

  • Postgraduate training in MSK/Sports physiotherapy or S+C

  • Dry needling

  • Post graduate qualification in vestibular physiotherapy
