Motor Technician Skoda - Kilkenny

Laharts are looking to recruit a Qualified Motor Technician to join our Skoda service team in Kilkenny.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in all aspects of vehicle servicing and diagnostics and capable of producing quality work in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Service & repair vehicles in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and dealership standards.
• Perform work as outlined on the job card with efficiency and accuracy.
• Use diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach to ensure vehicle faults are diagnosed and rectified.
• Examine the vehicle and perform health checks to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
• Complete service documentation in line with ISO, warranty and dealership requirements.
• Maintain a clean and neat workspace and adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards.

Requirements

• Ability to work on own initiative and be a good team player.
• Good communication skills and the ability to identify and explain additional work required.
• Capable of producing quality work in a busy fast paced environment.
• Be diligent, with a flexible approach to work.
• Full Clean Driving License.
