The Role:We are currently seeking a confident and reliable Motor Technician to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified technician with proven hands-on expertise who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a professional and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electronic and mechanical diagnostics, diagnose faults efficiently and accurately using modern diagnostic equipment.
  • Carry out servicing, routine maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles to a high standard e.g. oil changes, brake checks, tyre fitting etc.
  • Repair or replace defective parts and components e.g. exhaust systems, timing belts, starters, alternators etc.
  • Use initiative to identify and resolve vehicle issues effectively.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team to ensure timely job completion.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
  • Ensure all work is documented, including parts used, time taken and any follow-up requirements.

Candidate requirements:

  • Fully qualified Motor Technician with minimum 3 years post-apprenticeship experience as a mechanic
  • Full category B drivers licence
  • Valid EU work permit

Skills required:

  • Proven experience with diagnostics, repair and maintenance of a range of vehicles.
  • Experience using Stellantis software desired but not essential
  • Familiarity with vehicle inspection standards
  • Confident and reliable with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle electronics, diagnostics, and servicing.
  • Proficient with diagnostic tools and computer-based fault finding systems.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and maintain high standards of work.
  • Good communication skills for liaising with supervisors, suppliers and customers.
  • Previous experience working with PSA vehicles is desirable but not essential.
