Location: Stratford-upon-Avon
Salary: £32,000 Basic
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm No Weekend Working

The Role

As an MOT Tester, you'll play a key role in ensuring vehicles meet the highest safety and compliance standards while supporting the workshop team with inspections and repairs.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out Class 4 & 7MOT tests in line with DVSA standards

  • Completing vehicle inspections and identifying repair requirements

  • Diagnosing faults relating to brakes, suspension, steering and exhaust systems

  • Carrying out minor repairs where required

  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and to the highest standard

  • Maintaining accurate workshop documentation

  • Working closely with the workshop team to deliver excellent customer service


About You

  • Valid Class 4 & 7MOT Tester Licence

  • NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)

  • Previous experience as an MOT Tester or Vehicle Technician with an MOT Licence

  • Strong mechanical knowledge and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence
  • Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
