Duties of the MOT Technician
  • Conducting comprehensive vehicle inspections, repairs, and servicing as a qualified technician
  • Carrying out MOT testing in accordance with industry standards and company policies
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues accurately and efficiently
  • Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service and workshop efficiency
  • Keeping detailed records of work carried out and parts used
  • Supporting the team with technical advice and expertise
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an automotive technician and MOT tester
  • MOT testing accreditation (essential)
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Master Technician or qualified Technician with relevant industry experience
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
