Morning Nanny & Light Housekeeping (Driver) - Loxwood

Responsibilities

• Arrive at 7:00am to help prepare the children for their school day, ensuring they are dressed, have breakfast, and are ready for school.
• School drop off (approx. 7:45am departure; 12 minute car journey).
• Return home after drop off to assist with light household tasks, such as putting on a wash, changing beds, and general tidying/housekeeping (tasks can be structured across the week).
• Optional cleaning and ironing, and evening meal preparation if further hours are wanted - all can be discussed with the right person.
• Must be comfortable being around a well trained Labrador and letting him out in the garden for loo breaks.
• Dependability for consistency in the children's morning routine; during private school holidays, the family would not need the school runs but some cleaning duties could still be continued if wanted.

• Reliable and punctual.
• Warm, organised, proactive.
• Comfortable managing a morning routine independently.
• A driver with own car, essential for the school run.

Requirements

• Minimum experience: Nanny/Housekeeping experience.
• Training: Enhanced DBS and paediatric first aid (12 hour certificate).
• Qualifications: Child care.
• Must have an up to date enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, a 12 hour paediatric first aid certificate, and a minimum of two professional referees, one of whom is the current or last employer and both immediately contactable.
• Professional nanny insurance is recommended.

Job Details

• Location: Ifold near Loxwood, west Sussex.
• Hours of work: 7am start; flexible morning finish (9:30am or 10/11am with additional housekeeping duties).
• Days required: Monday - Friday.
• Driving required: Driver with own car (business insurance included).
• Pay: £15 + p/h (negotiable for the right person).
• Job Start Date: Early September 2026.
