Job Description

Monitoring Center Operator vacancy for our Zürich based client in the financial sector.

Your tasks:

  • Working in an operational model: 24×7 shift operation
  • Continuous monitoring of events and alerts across infrastructure, applications, and services
  • Verification and validation of events, including identification of false positives and duplicates and classification, prioritization, and correlation of events based on predefined criteria
  • Efficient handling of incidents by applying documented solutions or workarounds for known errors along with intervention in ongoing processing during exceptional system situations
  • Monitoring processing and failure logs together with the execution of documented operating procedures, runbooks, and escalation guidelines
  • Escalation and notification of on-call personnel and support teams as well as the coordination and moderation of support and incident bridge calls with technical experts
  • Accurate and timely documentation of all activities, actions taken, escalations, and outcomes

Your experience/knowledge:

  • 1+ year of proven experience in 24×7 monitoring, NOC, or IT operations environment
  • Ability to work strictly in accordance with documented procedures and instructions
  • Practical experience with BMC Helix ITSM
  • Language skills: English, German both fluent verbally and written
