Role Purpose

The Modern Workplace Engineer plays a key role in delivering technical excellence across three main areas: Technical Pre-sales, Technical Delivery, and Service Design. This position supports organisations in maximising the value of their technology investments by providing expert advice during pre-sales, ensuring high-quality delivery of professional services, and contributing to the design and improvement of service offerings. The role involves collaborating with sales and technical teams, delivering projects to agreed standards and timelines, and supporting the ongoing development of new and existing services.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a proactive, technically skilled professional with at least one year's experience working with Microsoft technologies, particularly Microsoft 365. They possess strong coordination, planning, and communication skills, and are comfortable engaging with both internal teams and external clients. Essential qualifications include Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals or equivalent, with a desire to further develop technical expertise. Experience with ISO standards, ITIL environments, and additional cloud security or productivity services (such as Mimecast or Acronis) is desirable. The successful candidate will be adaptable, solutions-focused, and committed to continuous improvement and high-quality service delivery.
