This role isa permanent part-time position offering 37 hours per week, requests to workpart-time or job share will be considered, taking into accounts business needs,and reviewed annually.

Main duties of the job Here atDefence Primary Healthcare (DPHC), we are an inclusive and dedicatedorganisation working to provide excellent care to our entitled personnel.

Our MODDentists aim is to maximise the deployability of the Population at Risk, providingclinical outputs, improving, and managing the dental health and operationalfitness of service personnel for whom they are responsible for.

Within yourcontracted 37 weekly hours, 2 hours may be attributed to nonclinical activitiesincluding practice meetings, training, and personal administration. The remainder of the contracted hoursare to be utilised to provide clinical outputs and work will be directedtowards improving and maintaining the dental health and operational fitness ofpersonnel for whom you are responsible.

Job responsibilities Duties and responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:
  • Inspecting all personnel for whom they are responsible at intervals in line with the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence guidelines and providing follow up treatment as required.
  • Work collaboratively with professional colleagues and in the best interest of patients.
  • Ensuring that surgery management, documentation including consumable stores, the safe3 custody of personal sensitive data and the maintenance of equipment is always kept to a high standard.
  • Onward referral of personnel to enhanced practitioners, specialists, or consultants for treatment as appropriate

If successful for this position, you will be required to provide evidence of your immunity to Hepatitis B. There is no requirement to deploy as this is met by our uniformed personnel, however, you will form the continuity of care required by our patients when in United Kingdom base location.
