Mobile Plant Operator - Cardiff

4 on 4 off 6am-6pm Long term role

We're recruiting a reliable and experienced Mobile Plant Operator to join a busy heavy movement industrial site in the Cardiff area. This is a stable, long term opportunity with consistent shifts, strong overtime rates, and an immediate start available.

Pay & Shifts

• 4 on 4 off - 6am to 6pm
• £13.04 per hour basic
• £19.56 overtime (after 8 hours) & Saturdays
• £26.08 Sundays

What You'll Be Doing

• Operating 360 wheeled machinery or front shovel loading equipment
• Moving materials, loading vehicles, and supporting daily plant operations
• Maintaining safe work areas in a fast paced heavy industrial environment
• Completing daily machine checks and reporting defects
• Working as part of a reliable, safety focused team

What You Need

• Valid CPCS or NPORS for 360 Wheeled Excavator or Front Shovel
• Experience operating heavy plant machinery in industrial or construction settings
• Strong awareness of site safety, signalling, and communication
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Good reliability and timekeeping
• CSCS preferred but not essential
• Fit for work and comfortable in physical, hands on environments
