Mobile Plant Fitter - South Yorkshire

EXPERIANCED MOBILE PLANT FITTER REQUIRED

KPH Plant Hire Ltd is a long-established family-run business supplying quality plant equipment to the construction industry across Yorkshire since 1972. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced and reliable Mobile Plant Fitter / Service Engineer to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with experience working on a range of construction plant machinery, including Kubota excavators, JCB telehandlers, Thwaites dumpers, and Terex rollers.

The Role

Working as part of our experienced service team, you will attend customer sites carrying out diagnostics, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of plant equipment.

Areas Covered

South Yorkshire, Chesterfield, Nottingham, and Derbyshire.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults, service, and repair a range of plant equipment on customer sites
• Carry out maintenance on: Kubota Excavators; JCB Telehandlers; Thwaites Dumpers; Terex Rollers
• Deliver a high standard of workmanship and customer service at all times
• Complete job records and maintain company equipment responsibly
• Work independently and efficiently while supporting the wider engineering team

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Plant Fitter, Plant Engineer, or Service Engineer
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience working with construction plant machinery
• Full UK driving licence
• Reliable, self-motivated, and professional attitude
