Mobile Kitchen Assistant

Responsibilities

You will be expected to assist in the smooth running of the lunchtime service and maintain hygienic conditions in the kitchen and undertake associated kitchen duties. You will:

• Wash up.
• Set up and clear away equipment and tables.
• Clean the kitchen, its surrounds and equipment.
• Assist in the preparation of high quality and varied meals for young people.

You will work as part of a team, comply with Food and Health and Safety Regulations and maintain a high standard of work. The role requires working with agreed schedules.

Qualifications & Requirements

No formal qualifications are required; however basic food hygiene training is required, and you will need to attend relevant training courses. The post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure (Child's) from the Disclosure and Barring Service. Own transport is required, qualifying for the Council's casual car user allowance.
