Mobile Fabric Engineer - Chester, Cheshire, North-West - to £42,000 plus commercial van and
My client who is one of the UK's leading Facilities Management organisations are seeking an experienced Mobile Fabric Engineer to join their mobile maintenance team dedicated to various retail contracts.
As a Building Fabric Technician you would be responsible for undertaking building fabric and basic plumbing maintenance works including PPM servicing and reactive breakdown repairs.
Responsibilities- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
- Building fabric maintenance, including Door furniture and ironmongery
- Fire door inspections and minor repairs
- Ceiling and floor tile repairs/replacement
- General fabric upkeep and fault finding
- Minor plumbing works, including: Sink flow checks, Flushing and tap repairs, Toilet maintenance and basic fault rectification
- Basic electrical support, including: Emergency lighting checks, Lamp and ballast replacements
- Providing accurate completion of job reports via PDA or tablet ensuring all works are completed safely, compliantly, and to a high standard
- Proven maintenance background in commercial environments - ideally retail
- Qualified in relevant trades (Carpentry, plastering, decorating or equivalent)
- Strong demonstrable competencies in building services trades, H&S knowledge
- Competent in the use of tablet or computers and data handling including PDA & MS Office
- UK Driver's Licence (no more than 6 points)
In return for your hard work we offer a salary to £42,000, commercial van, overtime x 1.5, additional training and development, 26 days holiday (+ bank holidays), generous pension contribution, life assurance and much more.
This role is commutable from the Chester, Cheshire, North-West, Elleswere Port, Liverpool, Warrington, Bootle, Wrexham, Nantwich, Birkenhead, Runcorn
