Job Description

Following our recent successful campaign, we're excited to be recruiting even more Mobile Early Years Educators!

Happy Days Nurseries is offering unique opportunities to be part of our Mobile Workforce - a dynamic team of Educators that support settings across Exeter and Plymouth.

As a Mobile Early Years Educator, you'll be a vital part of our team, dedicated to ensuring consistent, high-quality education within a safe and secure environment within our nurseries.

You'll travel to settings within a one-hour commute from your home or base nursery, providing essential cover and support.

So, what will you be doing?
  • Delivering outstanding early years education and child development
  • Implementing and following the curriculum and framework, such as EYFS
  • Ensuring children's day-to-day needs are fully met
  • Creating and planning activities to stimulate learning, ensuring children's development is enriched
  • Building and maintaining excellent partnerships with colleagues, parents and carers, fostering open trust-based communication
  • Ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding and health and safety are met in every interaction and activity
Who we are looking for:

Are you an Early Years Educator qualified to Level 3 who:

  • Has experience with child development and learning and is committed to children's emotional and intellectual growth
  • Communicates confidently, professionally and works collaboratively
  • Works in a way that is inclusive and creates a supportive, respectful environment
  • Is reflective and committed to professional growth
  • Can easily commute to multiple nursery sites within a one-hour radius

And a few nice-to-haves:

  • Paediatric First Aid certification.
  • Experience supporting children with additional needs.
  • Familiarity with digital learning journals or nursery software.
