Mobile Caretaker

Are you passionate about cleaning, teamwork, and delivering exceptional service? Vertas is looking for a dedicated Mobile Caretaker to join our Facilities Team.

About the Role

Based in Bassetlaw Area, you will work Monday to Friday, between 6.00am and 6.00pm on a flexible rota. You will provide high-quality caretaking services to oversee maintenance and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day maintenance and minor repairs.
• Ensure heating, lighting, and alarm systems are working properly.
• Carry out and record basic checks and maintain Health and Safety records.
• Monitor site stocks and undertake cleaning duties.
• Demonstrate Health and Safety awareness and attend training courses (training provided).
• Support and cover staff during absences.
• Respond to urgent cover needs across the region.

Qualifications

• Great communication skills and experience in a similar caretaking setting.
• Team player providing excellent service across the Vertas Group.
• Decision-making skills with Vertas in mind.
• Adaptability and response to change in a growing organization.

What You'll Bring

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
• Valid UK driving licence.
