I am currently working with a Top 20 accountancy firm seeking a Mixed tax semi-senior to join their tax team due to a large amount of growth trajectory in recent months. This is a great opportunity for an individual to work in a forward-thinking and supportive environment and build a solid foundation in tax with the opportunity to progress through the firm in the future.
The Role:
Within this role, you will be working on a portfolio of both corporate and personal tax clients, including, SME's, OMB's, HNWI and family-run businesses, gaining a solid understanding of both compliance and advisory and developing your technical skills to progress within the firm.
- Manage a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients
- Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with deadlines
- Review tax returns prepared by the junior members of the team
- Provide tax planning and advisory support to the client
- Identify tax planning opportunities and contribute to internal processes
What you'll need to succeed :
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in a tax role in practice
- ATT or CTA qualified (or studying towards)
- Strong knowledge of corporate tax, personal tax, income tax and capital gains tax
- Strong communication skills with client-facing experience
- Team player and a willingness to progress and learn
