MIS Senior Operational Support OfficerClosing date: 14/10/2026Reference: REQ hours / Temporary27,274 - 28,608 Aberystwyth All salary values are pro-rata.About the roleWe are looking to recruit a MIS Senior Operational Support Officer to join our Schools and Culture service.About the roleYou will be the first point of contact for any queries relating to learner and administration for courses run by Hyfforddiant Ceredigion Training. You will have responsibility under the line management of the Team Manager for Vocational Learning and Skills for liaison with Awarding Organisations, entry of HCT learner information into management information systems (MIS) and e-portfolio systems. You will provide operational support to management and teaching staff, including creation of social media posts and promotional materials using information provided by colleagues and management of the HCT website.About the candidateAre you highly organised, great with people, and confident using technology? We're looking for someone with excellent communication and numeracy skills, strong ICT experience, and a professional yet approachable manner. In this role, you'll communicate effectively with members of the public and partner organisations, both in person and over the phone. You will use your problem-solving skills to gather and interpret information, applying a methodical approach with great attention to detail. You will need to manage your time and priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. We need someone who can work flexibly-whether independently or as part of a team-to adapt to the changing needs of our service.
