Job Description
About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and professional Minibus Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from designated locations, ensuring a high standard of customer service and adherence to all road safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a minibus in accordance with UK road laws and company policies
  • Transport passengers to scheduled destinations in a timely manner
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any faults or issues
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle
  • Provide excellent customer service to passengers at all times
  • Keep accurate records of journeys where required
Requirements
  • Valid UK driving licence with entitlement to drive a minibus (Category D1 or D)
  • Alternatively, a valid Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme (MiDAS) qualification
  • Clean driving record (or minimal endorsements)
  • Strong awareness of road safety and passenger care
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
Desirable
  • Previous experience driving a minibus or similar vehicle
  • Knowledge of local routes and areas
  • Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
