We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG/TIG Welder to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing company based in Solihull. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder looking to secure a long-term position with a successful and growing business.
Hours of Work
As a MIG/TIG Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welded components while working from engineering drawings and specifications. You will be working with a variety of metals in a busy fabrication environment, ensuring all work meets quality standards.

- Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
- Friday: 7:00am - 1:00pm
- Early finish every Friday
- Full-time hours

As a MIG/TIG Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welded components while working from engineering drawings and specifications. You will be working with a variety of metals in a busy fabrication environment, ensuring all work meets quality standards.
Duties Include
- MIG and TIG welding to a high standard
- Welding aluminium, zinc, stainless steel, mild steel and other ferrous and non-ferrous metals
- Fabricating and assembling metal components
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Producing both bespoke and batch work
- Grinding, linishing and finishing welded products
- Inspecting completed welds to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Previous experience as a MIG/TIG Welder
- Experience welding aluminium is essential
- Experience working with zinc, stainless steel, mild steel and other metals is highly desirable
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and committed to long-term work
- Successful candidates will be required to complete an on-site practical MIG/TIG weld test as part of the interview process. Only applicants who successfully pass the weld test will be considered for the position.
