Sitting within the Microsoft Alliances department at Softcat the Microsoft Product and Services Team are a group of subject matter experts, aligned to Softcat's technology proposition areas. The team is a customer-facing, technology focused resource available for our Microsoft Specialists and our Account Teams. Empowering teams with expert insight into Microsoft Azure

As a Microsoft Product and Services Specialist - Azure, you will be a subject matter expert with deep knowledge of Microsoft solutions, responsible for clearly communicating complex topics, staying current with technological advancements, and maintaining relevant certifications. You'll support customer adoption and Softcat's growth by leveraging Microsoft-funded programmes, Softcat Professional and Partner Services, while collaborating across teams to articulate the value of vendor technologies.

As a Microsoft Product and Services Specialist - Azure, you'll be responsible for:

• Maintaining expert-level, up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft products and services in your specialisation, supported by relevant Sales and Technical certifications
• Clearly communicating the value of vendor technologies through tailored solutions, live demos, and strategic insights for both internal teams and customers
• Building and managing strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including mapping connections between Softcat and vendors
• Collaboratingwith Microsoft and Softcat to identify customer opportunities, analyse market trends, and uncover new business potential
• Delivering targeted training to Account Managers and Specialistteams, ensuring they are equipped to effectively promote vendor technologies
