Role Overview
We are seeking a senior Microsoft Platform Engineer & Administrator to operate and evolve enterprise Microsoft platforms supporting regulated Digital Services Act (DSA) systems. This is a hands-on role with end-to-end responsibility for the stability, security, performance, and availability of Microsoft workloads. You will work closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and platform leadership to ensure systems are resilient, compliant, and automation-driven.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperate, secure, and optimize enterprise Microsoft platforms including Windows Server, Active Directory, IIS, SQL Server, Dynamics 365 (on-prem), and SharePoint.
Ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of Microsoft workloads, including backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
Administer and optimize SQL Server environments, implementing and maintaining HA/DR solutions such as Always On, clustering, replication, and backup/restore.
Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and integrate Microsoft Dynamics 365 (on-premises) and associated enterprise applications.
Implement security controls and authentication mechanisms in line with EU regulatory and corporate security requirements, including certificate and SSL/TLS management.
Automate platform provisioning, configuration, and maintenance using PowerShell and DevSecOps-aligned practices.
Monitor platforms, troubleshoot complex production issues, and lead incident resolution using enterprise monitoring tools.
Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to support application deployments and continuous platform improvement.
Produce clear technical documentation and support audits and compliance activities.
5+ years of hands-on experience managing enterprise Microsoft infrastructure, including Windows Server, Active Directory, IIS, and SQL Server.
Proven experience administering Microsoft Dynamics 365 (on-premises) in production environments.
Strong experience delivering secure, high-availability Microsoft platforms, including backup and disaster recovery.
Solid PowerShell Scripting and automation skills.
Hands-on experience with authentication and identity protocols (Kerberos, NTLM, OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect).
Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments.
Fluent in English.
Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (CRM or ERP).
