Job Introduction

We are currently recruiting for a Car Sales Executive to join our MG Dealership in Solihull.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team ahead of our new dealership opening in July 2025. MG is one of the fastest-growing automotive brands, with an extensive lineup of new models. The successful candidate will be part of this exciting journey.

You will work Monday to Saturday, with a day off during the week and Sundays on a rota basis. You will have one Saturday off per month to enjoy a full weekend off. Working hours are 8:30 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm on Saturdays, and 10 am to 4 pm on Sundays.

Benefits include a company car and an OTE of £55,000.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Sales Executive with Listers, you'll ensure each customer feels valued by understanding how our vehicles fit into their lives. It's about matching the right car with the customer and providing the features and add-ons they need. From financing to contracts, you'll aim for total customer satisfaction throughout the process.

  • Build trust, communicate effectively, and exceed customer expectations through qualification and creating a positive first impression.
  • Maximize opportunities through prospecting, follow-up calls, inbound inquiries, walk-in prospects, and internet leads.
  • Achieve monthly KPIs for unit sales, profit per unit, finance penetration, and add-on products to maximize profit.
  • Adhere to FCA and data protection regulations by accurately collecting customer contact and vehicle data to enhance the customer database.

About you

  • This role may suit someone with experience as a car sales executive, retail manager, or sales manager.
  • You should demonstrate a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Ability to establish and build rapport quickly with customers.
  • Potential to develop a successful career in the industry.
  • Valid UK driver's license is required.
  • Motor trade, automotive, or dealership experience is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
