The Group You'll Be A Part Of
Within the Cleans Products' Lab Operations, the Metrology and Defect Analysis team provides the measurement, inspection, and analytical capabilities needed to support product development, customer demonstrations, and engineering activities.
By working closely with engineering and customer-facing teams, the organization helps ensure reliable data, improve process understanding, and drive successful customer outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Conduct measurements, inspections, and SEM investigations to generate, evaluate, and interpret data in support of customer demonstrations.
- Perform periodic checks of metrology tools using Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods, ensuring they remain within specified limits and deliver consistent output.
- Participate in the planning and coordination of preventive maintenance and calibration activities.
- Serve as the point of contact for equipment suppliers and laboratory visitors during troubleshooting and improvement activities.
- Support metrology engineers in carrying out specialized metrology and analytical tasks.
Profil
- BSc. in engineering discipline or industrial engineering degree/college (HTL, Kolleg) with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with metrology instruments, calibrations, and process control.Familiarity with working in a laboratory and with semiconductor equipment.
- Knowledge of statistics, design of experiments and problem solving.
Wir bieten
This position will be occupied in Villach. It is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry ( ) in occupation group E, depending on Education. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
The position is hired through a third party agency.
