The Job

Due to high demand and the launch of new products, we're looking for additional Metalwork Operatives to work within our Metalwork team.

The main responsibilities for this role will be to work within the metalwork facility manufacturing the company's products, ensuring the highest of quality standards are met.

Experience and Expertise General Metalwork Production Operator
  • Experience of and enjoy working in a metalwork production environment
  • Exposure to cleaning metalwork for paint and using metalwork equipment
Weld
  • Experience of using TIG welding equipment on MS sheet.
  • Working with MS 0.9mm to 1.6mm thickness material.
  • Using dressing and finishing equipment to complete parts to paint standard.
Paint
  • Experience of using powder coat equipment - gloss and fine texture finish.
  • Checking/adjusting and maintaining powder coat equipment.
  • Experience of painting to high standards.
CNC Punch / Press Brake
  • You'll have experience of operating a Hydraulic CNC punch or Press Brake.
  • Loading and running programmes.
  • Checking and maintaining / adjusting punch tooling.
  • Confident use of measuring equipment.
  • Working with sheet metal 0.9mm to 1.6mm.

The role will have some repetitive tasks from time to time, so a high attention to detail and strong ability to focus on tasks is a definite requirement.

We'll provide you with the on-the-job training and ongoing support, so if you're willing to learn and have a can do attitude then this could be the role for you!

Shifts

We work on a 2-week shift rotation (6am - 2pm / 2pm - 12am) and offer a shift rate uplift across both shifts. We also have generous overtime rates for those willing to work additional hours/weekends, as well as some excellent company benefits!
