Metalwork and Production Operative

The Best Connection is currently recruiting for a

Metalwork & Production Operative to join our client's busy manufacturing facility in

This is an

ongoing position offering

£13.45 per hour, working

Monday to Thursday, 07:00-16:45.

As part of the production team, you will be involved in a variety of metalwork and final assembly operations, supporting the manufacture of products

.

The role offers plenty of variety, with the successful candidate expected to be flexible and willing to move between different workstations across the factory as required.

Duties may include:

AMADA Press Brake operation

CNC Punch operation

• Grinding and linishing
• Studding
• Powder coating
• TIG and MIG welding
• Final assembly of metalwork products
• Working from production drawings
• Maintaining required production output and quality standards
• Supporting other areas of production when required
• Working as part of a small, close-knit production team

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience working within a

manufacturing or production environment

• Experience with

metalwork processes

They will also have experience in one or more of the following.

• Experience operating an

AMADA Press Brake and/or Finn Power machine

• Experience as a

Press Brake Operator, CNC Punch Operator, Powder Coater or Welder

• TIG welding experience, with some MIG welding beneficial.

Candidates will also require.

• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Ability to read and follow

production drawings

• A reliable and flexible approach to work
• A positive

"can-do" attitude and willingness to learn

• Ability to work effectively as part of a small team

Pay: £13.45 per hour

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 07:00-16:45
