Job Description
As a Materials & Processes Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and sharing expertise in materials, tooling, and manufacturing techniques with a particular focus on failure analysis across the entire organization. You will actively maintain and expand a professional network with external research institutes and industry partners. In this role, you will identify technological opportunities and initiate and coordinate technology-driven projects. Furthermore, you will oversee the technical content of materials and process standards, especially in the domains of failure analysis and non-destructive testing (NDT).

You should have several years of hands-on experience in failure analysis of metallic components, ideally within the automotive sector. Familiarity with non-destructive testing methods is essential. Possession of NDT Level 3 certification in penetrant and magnetic particle (Magnaflux) inspection is a plus.
The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. You should be available to work in the laboratory at least three days per week, dedicating the remaining time to reporting and meetings.
