Location: Remote (occasional travel required
Contract Length: Initial 6 months (possibility to extend)
We're seeking a detail-oriented MES Application Tester to support quality assurance across manufacturing execution systems. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on MES testing experience, automation tool proficiency, and a solid grasp of Agile delivery cycles.
Key Responsibilities- Execute functional, regression, and system testing across MES applications
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools
- Document test cases, test results, and defect logs with precision
- Collaborate with developers and analysts to refine acceptance criteria
- Manage test plans and sprint cycles using Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Participate in UAT and post-deployment validation
Required Skills
- Proven experience testing MES platforms (eg, Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, SAP ME)
- Familiarity with automation tools (eg, Selenium, TestComplete, or similar)
- Strong documentation skills for test scripts and defect tracking
- Working knowledge of ADO test plans, boards, and Agile ceremonies
- Ability to work independently in remote setups with occasional travel
Engagement Details
- Remote-first role with occasional client site visits (travel reimbursed via expense form)
- Initial 6-month contract with possibility of extension
